Grant Park Security Patrol (GPSP)
NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME NEWS.

There have been several burglaries in the SW section of the
neighborhood. There have also been a couple of attempts and some tools
stolen from a backyard. These have been on Grant at Grant Park Place
at about 1 pm yesterday, Kendrick near Hill, and Augusta at Grant.

The burglary suspect is a 6 foot tall black male, light complexion and
late 30s. He was seen carrying a blue-black backpack.

There have been some car larcenies in that area also. There have been
some car larcenies at the Park and purses have been taken while
visitors were exercising at the Park.

There were some commercial burglaries at local restaurants last week
and last night Zone 3 morning watch officers caught a suspect in Grant
Central restaurant.

Our membership support remains at a good level so we are able to
commit to our patrol officers at 30 hours per week through June and
