This year, Atlanta Public Schools has decided to revamp their registration process for the Georgia Pre-K program- at this time I haven't heard anything about other counties changing their procedures. In the past registration has been done on a first-come, first-served basis with families camping out at local school for up to 4 days. Atlanta Public Schools announced today the registration dates for the pre-k program. Parents can register for APS pre-k spots from 9am-7pm on April 18 at Inman Middle School and The New Schools at Carver, and on April 25 at Douglass and Jackson High School (also 9am-7pm). The lottery will be held on April 27 (location TBA). More information should be available on the APS website- www.atlanta.k12.ga.us. I looked and couldn't find it, so if you do spot it let me know!
